Team of the Week: Bismarck Century

Bismarck Century Logo

The Patriots ended its season on a high note, claiming fifth at the ND state dual tournament in Grand Forks. It was Century's best finish in state dual competition since 2014 (fifth). The squad defeated Mandan and Fargo Davies in tournament play. Senior Jared Pitcher also earned all-state honors with a fifth place finish in the individual singles tournament.

WF SHEYENNE INVITE

WEST FARGO – WDA teams took part in the annual West Fargo Sheyenne individual tournament on Sept. 16. Minot High was the top finisher for the conference, placing fifth. Century was sixth and Legacy was eighth. G.F. Red River won the tournament which is based on match victories among the various singles and doubles play. Minot High had two doubles team win their respective division. Grayson Schaeffer and Aidan Diehl won the No. 1 doubles bracket. Teammates Conor Odahlen and Oliver Thompson on the No. 2 bracket. Century's Jared Pitcher was third at No. 1 singles. Mandan's Jared Christen was second in No. 2 singles. Legacy's doubles team of Brady Johnson and Declan Hosek were third at No. 3 doubles.
