Team of the Week: Jamestown
There won't be a trip to the ND state hockey tournament for Jamestown this season, but that doesn't take away from the squad's effort last week in nearly earning the final tournament berth. Jamestown trailed Devils Lake, 1-0, in the third period of its Feb. 17 game and scored two goals to capture the needed road win. The squad then squared off against second place Grand Forks, needing to take at least take two of three points from the KnightRiders. Jamestown nearly got three, but GF scored late in the third period to force OT. GF then netted the winner. The 'Jays got a point, but fell one point shy of the final playoff spot.
