The 2024-25 postseason for WDA boys' hockey teams will begin with the West Region Tournament. Two play-in games will be played either Feb. 15 or Feb. 17. Seeds 7 and 8 will host seeds 10 and 9, respectively. Those winners will join seeds 1-6 in quarterfinal play at Minot's Pepsi Rink at MAYSA on Thursday, Feb. 20. The tournament continues Friday, Feb. 21 and Saturday, Feb. 22.

The ND state boys' hockey tournament will be hosted by Grand Forks Public Schools and played at Ralph Engelstad Arena on the campus of the University of North Dakota and Eagles Arena located near G.F. Red River HS. The top four finishers from the West Region Tournament will join the top four place winners from the East Region Tournament. The tournament will be conducted Feb. 27-28 and March 1.
