BISMARCK – The WDA did not add a boys' soccer state title to its trophy case, but the conference did have a strong showing, nonetheless. All four entries – Bismarck Legacy, Bismarck High, Jamestown and Minot High – earned at least one tournament victory. Legacy and Jamestown reached milestones. Legacy reached its first state title match appearance while Jamestown advanced to the semifinals for the first time. The Sabers fell to Shanley in the championship. The match was briefly tied in the second half before the Deacons netted the winner. Minot High also earned two tournament wins, tipping Jamestown for third. BHS placed sixth.
