BISMARCK – Big things could be on the horizon for WDA girls' wresters this weekend. The state individual and dual tournaments are in Fargo and many conference wrestlers and teams should be in the mix for individual titles and high team finishes. Minot High is coming off a region individual title. The Majettes, along with Bismarck High, figure to be battling for a state team title. Legacy and Century, meanwhile, should in contention for a top five finish as well. Several wrestlers head into the tournament as strong challengers for individual titles. Among them is two-time defending champion Julia Araujo of Bismarck High. The individual tournament is Thursday-Friday, Feb. 15-16. The team dual tournament will be on Saturday, Feb. 17. Bismarck High is the defending champion. Minot High finished third a season ago. Those teams will be in the hunt for the crown.
