Williston defeats Fargo North, 3-2

FARGO - Williston earned its second win of the season, and first in non-conference play, topping Fargo North 3-2 on Sept. 11. The Coyotes won a pair of singles matches which was the difference.
Hudson Finders won at No. 2 singles and Jace Peterson rode the momentum of a tie-break win in set one of his match to close out his opponent in straight sets at No. 3 singles. The Coyotes' doubles teams battled. The win came in straight sets at No 2 doubles by Chaz Bakken and TJ Jundt. At No. 1 doubles, Torsten Thomas and Kelson Dornfeld put a fight, falling in three sets.
Williston steps out of dual action and will take part in the Sheyenne Individual Invite on Sept. 12. Then, host Century, who hold a 1-2 WDA and 7-3 overall record, on September 15.
