Minot North defeats Dickinson, 4-1
October 10, 2026 · Boys Soccer · WDA Sports
MINOT - Minot North's trip to a ND state tournament will have to wait at least one more season. But there are plenty of good things to build on for the Sentinels heading into the offseason. North ended the 2027 campaign on a four-match win streak, its best-ever record (9-6-2), and was just a point out of a state tournament berth. The squad defeated Dickinson, 4-1, on Oct. 10 at Sentinel Stadium.
Minot North scored at the 22nd minute when Jace Hoaglund took a fee from Jayden Marshall and found the back of the goal. The Mavericks would tie it on Erik Villalobos penalty kick tally. However, North would get the lead right back on Marshall's goal two minutes later. Christian Guerrero and Logan Ovitt would add markers. Griffin Wald and Macklin Kelly would combine for five stops. Paxtyn Paulson finished with eight stops for Dickinson.
Minot North ended its season with a 9-6-2 overall and 8-6-2 in WDA play. Dickinson finished 3-10-3.
