MANDAN - Mandan remained unbeaten, and more importantly, gained the inside track for the WDA regular season crown with a convincing 8-1 victory over Minot High on Sept. 15. The Braves move to 5-0 in the WDA and 13-0 overall. Minot High now stands at 4-2 in the WDA and 13-2 overall.
Mandan dominated the singles matches, winning five out of six. The home team showed resilience, clinching four sets that went to tie-breaks. This effort was pivotal in their victory. The Magi were without their top player, Nolan Moore, which impacted their performance as their lineup needed to move up one level. Mandan now leads the WDA standings. They will face Jamestown next, while Minot prepares to meet Valley City on September 18.
