MANDAN - Mandan-St. Mary's secured a 3-1 victory over Jamestown on September 8, improving to 3-1-2 overall, while Jamestown remains winless at 0-5-2.
Jamestown took an early lead with a goal from Liam Becker, maintaining the advantage for nearly 19 minutes. However, Lucas Howard's equalizer for Mandan-St. Mary's tied the score just before halftime. James Hoover scored the decisive goal three minutes into the second half, putting the Braves ahead for good. Caden Wondra later added an insurance goal, securing the win. Mandan-St. Mary's climbed into third place in the standings with the victory.
