JAMESTOWN - Jamestown won its second-straight match, edging visiting Legacy, 2-1, in WDA play on Sept. 15 at JHS Rotary Field.

Grady Eckart was the standout for the Blue Jays, scoring both goals in the match. The senior's decisive goal came at the 58th minute of the second half, sealing the win for Jamestown.

Legacy's defense remained strong, allowing just two goals, a consistent performance as they have done in all nine matches this season. The Sabers Nolan Healy's penalty kick briefly tied the score in the second half.

Looking ahead, Legacy will face Mandan-St. Mary's, who hold a 4-2-2 overall record, on September 17. Jamestown will next compete against Dickinson, with a 2-4-2 record in the WDA, on September 18.
