BISMARCK - Century erupted for five goals, erasing an early one-goal deficit to Williston en route to its first WDA victory of the season on Aug. 25 at the MDU Resources Community Bowl. Ryan Serrano staked the visitors to an early lead when his direct kick found the net just three minutes into the contest. The Patriots were awarded a penalty kick eight minutes later and Cale McEver's shot tied the score. Century would strike again before the half ended and then break open the match with three markers in the second half, the first coming on a corner kick at the 43rd minute mark. Three Pats players had two points - Cale McEvers (1 goal, 1 assist); Gaege Gangness (2 goals); Charlie Anderson (2 assists).
Century will face Minot North (2-1 WDA, 3-1 overall) on August 27, while Williston is set to play against Legacy (1-1 WDA, 1-1 overall) on August 29.
