WATFORD CITY - Watford City put together a spirited effort in set three, but couldn't get the win to extend the match, falling to visiting Des Lacs-Burlington 3-0 in a non-conference volleyball match on Sept. 14, The Wolves are 2-4 overall, 2-2 in Division A play.
After losing two sets by 25-15 margins, WC battled to the end in set three, falling 27-25.
Watford City's Nora McGorman finished with a team-best eight kills and also chipped in with 10 digs. Harlee Jacobson had a busy night in the back row, digging out 23 balls. Annbelle Bohn added 17 digs. Brielle Hance finished with 21 assists. Watford City prepares to host Hazen on September 22.
