BISMARCK - The opening set between Century and Jamestown took nearly 30 minutes to play. Both teams had multiple set points and the rallies provided plenty of edge-of-your-seat excitement for the crowd at CHS Olson Gymnasium on Oct. 29. Indeed, it could be a prelude to what may come in a couple of weeks at the West Region Tournament. When the dust settled, Century earned a three-set win, 32-30, 25-23 and 25-23, over its rival, but the match easily could've have produced a different outcome.

Set three again saw Jamestown build an early lead, 12-6, but Century wouldn't permit the Blue Jays to pull away. The score again was 22-22, but Century would close out the match. Century improved their record to 15-2 in the WDA and 23-6 overall. Jamestown fell to 15-2 in the WDA and 23-7 overall.
