Century defeats Bismarck, 3-0

BISMARCK - It didn't take long for Century to get right back in the win deparment. After dropping its first conference match of the season, the Patriots had a strong outing against rival Bismarck High on Sept. 17 at CHS Olson Gymnasium. Century won in three sets to improve to 5-1 in the Western Dakota Association and 7-5 overall. The Demons fell to 4-2 in the WDA and 9-3 overall.
Parker Lutman led Century with 10 kills, showcasing her offensive prowess. Freshman Lily Edinger contributed significantly with nine kills and 3.5 blocks, providing a strong defensive presence at the net. The Pats had 10 blocks.
Jensen Hintz was a standout for Bismarck, recording 12 kills to lead her team. Nya Davis anchored the defense with 16 digs, highlighting her ability to keep plays alive.
Century will face Minot North (3-2 WDA, 5-6 overall) on September 22, while Bismarck is set to play Jamestown (4-0 WDA, 8-2 overall) on the same day.
