Dickinson defeats Fargo South, 35-6

FARGO - Dickinson racked up 459 yards to total offense and rolled to a season-opening 35-6 road victory at Fargo South on Aug. 28. It was the Mavericks' first season-opening victory since 2023.
Running back Wyatt Turned ran for 178 yards on 28 carries and three scores. Quarterback Nathan Stevenson threw for 85 yards on 10-15 passing and a pair of TDs. The Mavericks defense also looked strong, holding the Bruins to just 171 yards of offense, including just six on the ground.
Dickinson put the game away in the second half, scoring 21 unanswered points.
The Mavericks look to continue their strong start against Williston (0-1 overall) on September 4, while Fargo South prepares to face Minot North (1-0 overall) on the same day.
