WILLISTON - Leo Kendor's 28-yard TD pass from Noah Rath pulled Williston nearly even with G.F. Red River early in the second quarter. However, that was as close as the Coyotes would get. Red River would rattled off five consecutive touchdowns before Williston would find the end zone again. The Roughriders earned 55-20 victory over Williston on Sept. 18 at WHS Legends Field.

Grand Forks Red River showcased a balanced offensive attack, amassing 472 yards of total offense. They gained 218 yards through the air and another 254 on the ground. Red River quarterback Reese Walters completed 10 passes for 148 yards and a pair of scores. Kaden Porter had 118 yards on the ground and two scores. Mo Kamara caught a 68 yard TD pass. Williston's quarterback, Noah Rath, threw for 155 yards, providing bright spots in the Coyotes' offensive efforts. Rath along with Jaheim Houston threw TD passes receiver Leo Kendor. He had 195 yards on five catches. Williston will open WDA Division AAA play against Legacy (3-1 overall) on September 25.
