FARGO - Century enjoyed an early lead on the road at Fargo Davies, but the Eagles turned things around in the second half to secure a 35-28 non-conference win on Sept. 4.

After Davies jumped out to a 7-0 lead on a 29-yard pass play from quarterback Tucker Kosen to Gage Liljequist, the Patriots put up 21-straight points. Century QB Kaden Welstad connected with Josiah Johnson on a 44-yard pass play to even the score. Then, the Pats ground game put together a pair drives, ending with a pair of rushing scores. Century finished with 209 yards on the ground.

However, the Eagles found their game in the second second half, largely behind the running of Talen Tuchscherer. The junior scored three times and racked up a game-high 147 yards. The loss dropped Century to 0-2 while Davies improved to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Century will face West Fargo Sheyenne, who holds a 1-1 overall record, on September 11. Fargo Davies is set to meet Legacy, also undefeated at 2-0, on the same date.
