BISMARCK - West Fargo Sheyenne defeated Bismarck Century 3-1 in the state tournament semifinals, improving to 10-1 overall, while Century fell to 17-1 in the WDA and 32-3 overall.

Peyton Saxlund led Sheyenne with 22 kills, while Cora Metcalf added 15. Brynlie Richman orchestrated the offense with 47 assists and contributed 10 digs. Reilly Bryant was a defensive force with six blocks.

For Century, Alexis Heinle delivered a team-high 17 kills. Abby Fosland provided 17 assists and 15 digs, and Kinley Pedersen led the defense with 33 digs. Sylvia Taylor added 12 kills and four service aces.

West Fargo Sheyenne advances to face Fargo Davies (8-3) in the championship match, while Bismarck Century will compete against West Fargo (8-2) in the third-place match.
