BISMARCK - West Fargo Sheyenne defeated Minot 3-0 in the state tournament quarterfinals, improving to 9-1 overall, while Minot stands at 21-14.

Peyton Saxlund led West Fargo Sheyenne with 11 kills, contributing significantly to their straight-set victory. Cora Metcalf added 9 kills, and Andrea Grijalva Delgado was a force at the net with 3 blocks.

For Minot, Everette Deschamp recorded 10 kills and 12 digs, while Camdyn Varty provided a strong defensive effort with 20 digs. Mackenzie Dufner facilitated the offense with 23 assists.

West Fargo Sheyenne advances to face Bismarck Century (32-2) in the semifinals, while Minot will play West Fargo Horace (8-3) in consolation play on November 21.
