Rugby defeats TMCHS (Belcourt), 3-2

MINOT - Rugby edged TMCHS (Belcourt) 3-2 in a thrilling volleyball match at the Minot State Dome. Rugby improved to 2-0 overall, while TMCHS holds a 7-14 record.
Rugby secured the victory with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-14, 22-25, and 15-11. Irelei Zerr led TMCHS with an impressive 19 kills and added 34 digs, showcasing her all-around abilities.
Maddison Patneaud contributed significantly for TMCHS with 9 kills, 6 blocks, and 30 digs. Akealyes Azure was pivotal in setting up the offense with 25 assists and also recorded 25 digs.
TMCHS will look to regroup as their next game is yet to be scheduled. Rugby's upcoming opponent is also not yet determined.
