BISMARCK - Bismarck Century defeated West Fargo Sheyenne 21-7 in the first round of the playoffs, improving their record to 8-2 overall and 5-0 in the WDA, while the Mustangs fell to 4-6 overall and 2-3 in the EDC.

Century's offense was led by Carter Wylde, who rushed for 74 yards on 20 carries. Noah Herr contributed with a 1-yard touchdown run and completed 8 of 19 passes for 51 yards. Tristan Pope added a 3-yard touchdown run to level the score in the second quarter.

The Patriots' defense was pivotal, with Zavion Harildstad returning an interception 41 yards for a touchdown. Braxton Dahl led the team with six tackles, and Darion Bitz recorded a sack among his four tackles.

With this victory, Bismarck Century advances to the AAA semifinals for the first time since 2022, continuing their successful season with a sweep over West Fargo Sheyenne.
