WATFORD CITY 34, JAMESTOWN 21 - Watford City improved to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the Western Dakota Association with a 34-21 victory over Jamestown, who fell to 1-6 overall and 0-3 in the WDA, on Friday night at Charlotte and Gordon Hansen Stadium.
Watford City dominated on the ground, amassing 479 rushing yards. Rhylie Ledahl-Berger led the charge with 209 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries, while Trysten DeVries added 176 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Brogan Shannon contributed with 60 yards on 10 carries.
Jamestown's offense was highlighted by Cephy Sayler, who caught six passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns from quarterback Karson Schmidt, who completed 12 of 21 passes for 124 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Liam Frey added a rushing touchdown for Jamestown.
The victory marked Watford City's second-ever win over Jamestown and the first since a 6-3 playoff victory in 2017. The Wolves' rushing attack proved overwhelming as they secured the conference win.
