GRAND FORKS - Grand Forks Red River secured a 4-1 victory over Mandan in the State Tournament 3rd Place match, improving their record to 3-0. Mandan concludes their season with a 19-4 overall record.

Julian Mallory delivered a dominant performance in singles play, defeating Matthew Christen 6-0, 6-0, to set the tone for Red River. Max Mecham followed with a hard-fought win over Deklan Wollschlager, rallying to take the match 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (8).

In doubles action, the team of Jared Christen and Donaven Birdine secured Mandan's lone victory with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Kevin Martinez and Kyler Bydal. However, Red River's Cullen Rost and Mac McDonald clinched the overall match with a 7-5, 7-6 (5) victory against Ben Sayler and Eli Kleinknecht.

With the win, Grand Forks Red River claims third place in the state tournament, while Mandan reflects on a successful season.
