MINOT - Minot High secured a straight-set victory over Minot North, winning 3-0 with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-21. Minot High improved their record to 11-7 overall and 9-3 in the WDA, while Minot North fell to 7-10 overall and 3-8 in the conference.

Everette Deschamp led Minot High with a commanding offensive performance, tallying 16 kills and adding 11 digs. Kynsli Gillmore contributed significantly with 10 kills and a team-high 24 digs. Mackenzie Dufner orchestrated the offense with 42 assists and also added 11 digs.

For Minot North, Elli Laskowski stood out with 10 kills and 5 digs. McKinnley Kragh also made an impact with 8 kills and 12 digs. Brynn Francis was pivotal in setting up plays, recording 24 assists and 11 digs.

Minot High will next face Fargo Shanley, who are 3-3 overall, on October 10. Minot North will look to bounce back against Kindred on October 10.
