BISMARCK - Mandan edged Minot 3-2 in the WDA Tournament Semifinals, improving to 17-2 overall and 6-1 in WDA play. Minot's record stands at 16-6 overall and 5-2 in the WDA.

Jared Christen led Mandan with a decisive singles victory over Nolan Moore, winning 6-2, 6-0. Oliver Thompson secured another singles win for Mandan, defeating Lucas DeRosier 6-1, 6-1.

In a thrilling singles match, Connor Ressler of Minot triumphed over Eli Kleinknecht, rallying for a 4-6, 7-5, 10-7 victory. Mandan's doubles team of Matt Christen and Deklan Wollschlager clinched their match against Henrik Evanoff and Owen Sundahl, 6-1, 6-7 (5), 6-2.

With this victory, Mandan advances to the W. Region tournament finals and secures a spot in the ND state dual tournament. Minot will compete in a state qualifier next.
