MANDAN - Minot North edged Bismarck Century 3-2 in the WDA Tournament quarterfinals, improving to 7-8 overall and 3-4 in the WDA. Century falls to 8-10 overall and 4-3 in the WDA.

In singles play, Minot North's Lucas Griffith secured a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Conner Michela, while Brayden Callahan triumphed 6-4, 6-0 against Cullen Satrom. Ryan Mullally of Century claimed a win against Colton Griffith, 6-3, 6-2.

In doubles, the Minot North pairing of Parker Vigestad and Reece Blikre won their match 6-1, 6-4 against Jacob Gross and Mason Wagendorf. Century's Teddy Andrist and Hayden Parent fell to Peyton Opp and Mason Knittel, 6-4, 6-2.

Minot North advances to its first-ever W. Region semifinal and will face Bismarck Legacy (7-0 WDA, 15-4 overall) on October 2. Bismarck Century will next face Bismarck (0-7 WDA, 1-17 overall) on October 2.
