CASSELTON - Central Cass opened their season with a commanding 41-14 victory over Watford City, improving to 1-0 overall while the Wolves fell to 0-1.
Central Cass established dominance early, with a 1-yard touchdown run setting the tone in the first quarter. The Squirrels expanded their lead with a 32-yard touchdown pass, followed by a 29-yard scoring strike, both successfully converted with extra points.
Watford City struggled to find their rhythm until the final quarter, where Rhylie Ledahl-Berger's 2-yard touchdown run put them on the board. Baylor Salas connected with Bryson Wolfe for a 23-yard touchdown pass, with Coleton Lewis adding a successful conversion.
