Minot claimed the match with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, and 15-12. Key contributions came from Emily Johnson, who led Minot with 12 kills, and Sarah Lee, who added 18 assists. Defensive efforts were highlighted by Jessica Smith's 14 digs.

Bismarck St. Mary's showcased strong performances with Anna Brown recording 10 kills and Megan Davis contributing 16 assists. On the defensive end, Rachel Green tallied 12 digs to keep the Saints competitive throughout the match.

Minot will next face Fargo South, while Bismarck St. Mary's is set to play West Fargo Horace, both on August 30.
