DICKINSON - The Dickinson Midgets opened their season with a hard-fought victory, defeating Grand Forks Central 2-1 in a non-conference volleyball match. Dickinson improved to 1-0 overall, while Grand Forks Central dropped to 0-2.

In the first set, Dickinson took control early, showcasing a strong offensive presence. Key contributions came from senior outside hitter Emily Johnson, who led the team with several decisive kills.
