MINOT - Jamestown edged Bismarck Legacy 3-2 in a tightly contested boys' tennis match, bringing both teams to a 2-1 overall record.

Jamestown's Luke LeFevre secured a win against Connor Svihovec with scores of 2-6, 6-2, 10-7. Braxton Bukett also triumphed in a close match over Brady Johnson, finishing 4-6, 7-5, 10-4. Ravi Bansal added to Jamestown's singles victories by defeating Kevin Kalb 7-5, 6-4.

In doubles, Bismarck Legacy's pairs found success. Carter Madison and Braxton Spooner dominated their match against Aden Oettle and Kale Backen with a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Andrew Jones and Declan Hosek completed the doubles sweep for Legacy with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Haden Smith and Rajen Bansal.

Next, Jamestown will face Bismarck on August 26, while Bismarck Legacy prepares to meet Minot, also on August 26.
