MINOT - Mandan edged Jamestown 3-2 in a non-conference boys' tennis match on Thursday. The victory improved Mandan's record to 2-0, while Jamestown fell to 0-1.

Mandan's Luke LeFevre secured a win in singles, defeating Matthew Christen 6-2, 6-3. Deklan Wollschlager also contributed with a hard-fought 7-6 (4), 6-4 victory over Aden Oettle.

In doubles, the Mandan pair of Jared Christen and Donaven Birdine dominated Braxton Bennett and Kale Backen 6-3, 6-0. Ben Sayler and Eli Kleinknecht clinched another doubles win for Mandan, defeating Haden Smith and Rajen Bansal 6-2, 6-0.

Jamestown will look to bounce back against Bismarck, while Mandan prepares to face Minot.
