FARGO - Minot edged Fargo Shanley 3-2 in a non-conference boys' tennis match on September 5, improving to 7-1 overall, while Fargo Shanley starts the season 0-1.

Nolan Moore led Minot with a strong singles performance, defeating Sota Pierce 6-2, 6-1. Connor Ressler also secured a victory for Minot, overcoming Jaden Go 6-2, 6-4 in singles play.

In doubles, the Minot team of Oliver Thompson and Henrik Evanoff dominated their match against Jack Bilstad and Cory Grossman, winning convincingly 6-0, 6-3. Fargo Shanley's Mark Wanner and Alex Buisan managed to secure a doubles win, defeating Aiden Bye and Calvin Olson 6-3, 6-3.

Minot will next face Wahpeton, who are yet to play a match this season, on September 6.
