VALLEY CITY - Minot High secured an 8-1 victory over Valley City, improving their record to 6-1 overall and 1-0 in the WDA.

Nolan Moore led the charge for Minot with a commanding 6-0, 6-0 singles win over Quin Kruger. Oliver Thompson also delivered a strong performance, defeating Cole Haugen 7-6 (0), 7-5 in a tightly contested match.

Connor Ressler and Henrik Evanoff were pivotal in doubles, with Ressler pairing with Evanoff to win 6-1, 2-6, 10-3 against Kruger and Noah Talp. Tyson Barden and Aiden Bye also contributed to the team's success with a three-set doubles victory.

Minot looks to continue their momentum against Fargo Shanley on September 5, while Valley City will face Minot North on September 12.
