MINOT - Minot High secured a decisive 9-0 victory over Minot North on September 3, advancing their record to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in the Western Dakota Association, while Minot North fell to 1-7 overall and 0-3 in the WDA.

Nolan Moore clinched a hard-fought win against Colton Griffith, rallying to win 6-7 (5), 6-2, 6-0. Oliver Thompson also delivered a strong performance, overcoming Brayden Callahan with scores of 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.

In doubles, the team of Moore and Thompson dominated their match against Callahan and Parker Vigestad, winning 6-0, 6-0. Connor Ressler and Henrik Evanoff secured another victory in doubles, defeating Colton Griffith and Reece Blikre 6-3, 6-4.

Minot High will face Valley City on September 5, while Minot North will look to rebound against Jamestown on September 11.
