FARGO - Bismarck Legacy edged Wahpeton 3-2 in a non-conference boys' tennis match, improving their record to 9-4 overall and 3-0 in the WDA.

Connor Svihovec led Legacy's singles lineup with a decisive 6-3, 6-2 victory over Wahpeton's Alex Commings. Brady Johnson followed with a hard-fought win against Zach Commings, rallying to take the match 5-7, 6-1, 10-7.

Easton Hustad secured the third singles win for Legacy, defeating Jackson Bartels 6-4, 6-2. In doubles, Wahpeton's Watson Nagel and Garnett Anderson claimed a close 6-4, 1-6, 11-9 win over Carter Madison and Braxton Spooner.

Next, Bismarck Legacy faces Bismarck Century on September 16, while Wahpeton will meet Bismarck Century on September 12.
