BISMARCK - West Fargo Sheyenne defeated Bismarck Legacy 4-1 in a non-conference boys' tennis match, improving to 1-0 overall while Legacy moved to 5-3 overall and 3-0 in the WDA.

Leighton Heick of West Fargo Sheyenne secured a victory in singles against Carter Madison with scores of 6-2, 6-2. Carson Peterson added another win for Sheyenne, defeating Braxton Spooner 6-2, 6-1.

In doubles, Connor Svihovec and Brady Johnson claimed Legacy's lone match win, overcoming Nick Angus and Tyler Duffy 6-3, 7-5. Brody Bikic completed the singles sweep for Sheyenne by defeating Andrew Jones 6-1, 7-5.

West Fargo Sheyenne will next face Mandan, who holds a 7-0 record, while Bismarck Legacy prepares to take on West Fargo, currently 0-1 overall.
