WILLISTON - Bismarck Legacy defeated Williston 7-2 in a conference boys' tennis match, improving to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the WDA. Williston falls to 2-3 overall and 0-1 in the WDA.

Legacy dominated in singles play, winning all six matches. Connor Svihovec set the tone with a 7-5, 6-0 victory over Kallon DeLorme. Brady Johnson followed with a commanding 6-0, 6-2 win against Kane Shannon.

In doubles action, the duo of Svihovec and Johnson secured a 6-1, 6-4 win. Despite the overall loss, Williston's pair of Carns and Anfinson claimed a hard-fought victory in their doubles match, winning 4-6, 6-4, 12-10.

Next, Bismarck Legacy will face Jamestown (0-1 WDA, 3-2 overall) on September 2, while Williston will also meet Jamestown on September 5.
