MINOT - Bismarck Legacy defeated Minot North 5-0 in a non-conference boys' tennis match on August 22. Legacy improved to 2-1 overall, while Minot North fell to 1-2.

Connor Svihovec led Legacy with a dominant performance, winning his singles match against Braxton Callahan 6-0, 6-0. Brady Johnson also secured a victory for Legacy, defeating Peyton Opp 6-3, 6-2. Carter Madison contributed with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Reece Blikre.

In doubles, the pair of Declan Hosek and Braxton Spooner triumphed in a close match against Colton Griffith and Parker Vigestad, winning 6-4, 4-6, 10-7. Andrew Jones and Kevin Kalb rounded out the victories for Legacy with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Reece Blikre and Carter Fry.

Bismarck Legacy will face Minot in their next match on August 26, while Minot North will compete against Williston on August 25.
