MANDAN - Bismarck Legacy secured a decisive 7-2 victory over Mandan, maintaining their perfect 7-0 record in the Western Dakota Association and improving to 13-4 overall. Mandan, now 14-2 overall and 5-1 in the WDA, fought hard at home.

Connor Svihovec led Legacy with a dominant singles performance, defeating Jared Christen 6-0, 6-3. Brady Johnson showcased resilience, overcoming Donaven Birdine in a thrilling three-set match, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5. Carter Madison also contributed with a strong win over Ben Sayler, 6-1, 6-0.

In doubles, the pair of Svihovec and Johnson continued their success, securing a 6-0, 6-4 victory against Christen and Lucas DeRosier. The team of Madison and Braxton Spooner added another win, defeating Birdine and Sayler 6-0, 6-1.

With this victory, Legacy clinched the WDA regular season title and the top seed at the Western Region dual tournament. Next, they face Fargo Davies on September 26. Mandan, as the No. 2 seed, will look to bounce back against Jamestown.
