MINOT - Mandan triumphed over Minot North with a 7-2 victory in a Western Dakota Association boys’ tennis match on September 19. Mandan improved to 12-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play, while Minot North fell to 4-8 overall and 1-4 in the WDA.

Jared Christen led Mandan with a commanding 6-1, 6-1 win over Colton Griffith in singles play. Deklan Wollschlager showcased resilience, overcoming Brayden Callahan 0-6, 6-2, 6-2. Lucas DeRosier also contributed with a 6-3, 6-3 victory against Parker Vigestad.

In doubles, the team of Christen and DeRosier secured a 6-0, 6-2 win over Griffith and Peyton Opp. Wollschlager paired with Eli Kleinknecht to defeat Vigestad and Lucas Griffith 6-3, 6-4, further solidifying Mandan's dominance.

Mandan will face Williston next on September 20, while Minot North will look to rebound against Williston on September 23.
