FARGO - Mandan edged Fargo Davies 3-2 in a non-conference boys' tennis match on September 12. Mandan improved to 10-1 overall, while Fargo Davies moved to 2-1.

Jared Christen led Mandan in singles play, securing a decisive 6-0, 6-1 victory over Thor Cameron. Lucas DeRosier also contributed with a 6-2, 6-3 win against Breckun Metcalf.

Aksel Arndt clinched a crucial singles point for Fargo Davies, overcoming Eli Kleinknecht in a tight match with scores of 5-7, 7-5, 10-7. In doubles, the Mandan duo of Deklan Wollschlager and Ben Sayler won a hard-fought match against Duncan Metcalf and Grayden Schultz, 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.

Mandan will face Minot, boasting a 12-2 record, on September 16. Fargo Davies will prepare for a matchup against Bismarck Legacy on September 26.
