MANDAN - Mandan defeated West Fargo 9-0 in a non-conference boys' tennis match, improving to 7-0 overall, while West Fargo fell to 0-1.
Mandan's Jared Christen showcased his skills with a commanding 6-0, 6-0 win over Mason Ristvedt in singles play, setting the tone for the home team.
Matthew Christen and Lucas DeRosier each contributed to the sweep with their own straight-set victories, Christen winning 6-1, 6-3 against Riley Kleven and DeRosier defeating Nash Reisenauer 6-0, 6-0.
Next, Mandan will face West Fargo Sheyenne, while West Fargo prepares to take on Bismarck Legacy.
