MINOT - Minot High defeated Jamestown 7-2, improving their record to 13-3 overall and 4-0 in the Western Dakota Association. Jamestown fell to 4-8 overall and 1-4 in the conference.
In singles, Minot's Luke LeFevre secured a victory over Nolan Moore with scores of 6-4, 6-2. Oliver Thompson of Minot overcame Braxton Burkett 6-3, 6-2. Connor Ressler and Henrik Evanoff also contributed with wins over Aden Oettle and Kale Backen, respectively.
Minot dominated the doubles matches as well. The pair of Ressler and Evanoff defeated Oettle and Backen 6-1, 6-2. Tyson Barden and Aiden Bye also secured a doubles win against Haden Smith and Josh Sagaser, finishing 6-0, 6-2.
Jamestown will face Bismarck next, while Minot prepares to take on Mandan, who currently hold a 10-1 record.
