JAMESTOWN - Bismarck Legacy defeated Jamestown 6-0 in a Western Dakota Association boys' tennis match. Legacy improved to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in the WDA, while Jamestown fell to 3-3 overall and 0-2 in the WDA.
Connor Svihovec led Legacy with a straight-sets victory over Luke LeFevre, winning 6-3, 7-5. Brady Johnson also secured a win for Legacy, overcoming Braxton Burkett in a three-set match, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
Carter Madison and Braxton Spooner contributed to the team's success with decisive wins. Madison defeated Aden Oettle 6-1, 6-3, while Spooner triumphed over Ravi Bansal 6-1, 6-4. Andrew Jones and Kevin Kalb rounded out the singles victories, with Jones besting Kale Backen 6-3, 6-2, and Kalb winning against Haden Smith 6-3, 6-3.
Legacy's next match is against West Fargo Sheyenne on September 5, while Jamestown will face Williston on the same day.
