MANDAN - Mandan defeated Bismarck Century 9-0 in a Western Dakota Association boys' tennis match on September 9. Mandan improved to 8-1 overall and 1-0 in WDA play, while Century fell to 4-5 overall and 2-1 in the WDA.

In singles, Jared Christen led Mandan with a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Ryan Mullally. Matthew Christen secured a win against Cullen Satrom with scores of 7-5, 7-5. Deklan Wollschlager triumphed in a three-set match against Conner Michela, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.

In doubles, the Christen brothers, Jared and Matthew, teamed up for a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Mullally and Satrom. Lucas DeRosier and Donven Birdine also claimed a doubles win, 6-2, 6-0, against Hayden Parent and Michela.

Bismarck Century will next face Bismarck Legacy, which holds a 3-0 WDA record and 7-3 overall, on September 11. Mandan is set to compete against Valley City on September 12.
