BISMARCK - Bismarck Century edged out Jamestown in a thrilling boys' tennis match, securing a 5-4 victory to improve to 2-0 in the Western Dakota Association and 3-3 overall. Jamestown falls to 0-1 in conference play and 3-2 overall.

Conner Michela delivered a standout performance for Century, clinching a hard-fought victory over Aden Oettle with scores of 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (9). Mason Wagendorf also contributed significantly, defeating Ravi Bansal 6-2, 6-3 in singles play.

In doubles, the duo of Ryan Mullally and Cullen Satrom secured a win against Luke LeFevre and Aden Oettle, 6-4, 6-2, while Hayden Parent and Michela added another victory for Century, overcoming Braxton Burkett and Kale Backen 6-2, 6-4.

Jamestown will face Bismarck Legacy, who are 1-0 in conference play, on September 2. Bismarck Century is set to play against Bismarck, who are seeking their first win, also on September 2.
