MANDAN - Bismarck Legacy defeated Bismarck High 8-1 in a boys' tennis match on September 19, improving to 5-0 in the Western Dakota Association and 11-4 overall. Bismarck High fell to 0-4 in the WDA and 1-13 overall.
Connor Svihovec led Legacy in singles play with a decisive 6-1, 6-2 victory over Reed Romsaas. Brady Johnson also contributed with a 6-3, 6-4 win against Max Chouinard, showcasing strong performances across the board for Legacy.
In doubles action, the pairing of Svihovec and Johnson secured a win for Legacy with a 6-3, 6-1 result over Romsaas and Quinn Kleser. Bismarck High's sole victory came from the duo of Miles Hanson and Quinn Roberson at No. 3 doubles, winning 6-4, 6-1 against Carter Madison and Patrick Bellsolell.
Legacy remains unbeaten in conference play and looks forward to a challenging matchup against Minot on September 23. Bismarck High will face Williston on September 22.
