MINOT - Minot High School secured a 5-2 victory over Bismarck High School in a non-conference boys' tennis match, improving their record to 4-1. Bismarck fell to 0-5 overall.

Reed Romsaas led Minot in singles play, defeating Nolan Moore 6-4, 6-1. Oliver Thompson and Connor Ressler also delivered strong performances, each winning their singles matches 6-0, 6-1 against Quinn Kaiser and Quinn Roberson, respectively.

In doubles, Minot's Tyson Barden and Henrik Evanoff overcame Max Chouinard and Miles Hanson with a 7-5, 6-0 victory. Calvin Olson and Owan Sundahl added another point for Minot by defeating Grayson Grinaker and Andrew Wanner 6-3, 6-3.

Looking ahead, Bismarck will face Bismarck Century on September 2, while Minot prepares to play against Minot North on September 3.
