GRAND FORKS - Grand Forks Central rallied to defeat Minot North 3-2 in a non-conference boys' soccer match on Saturday. Minot North is now 0-2, while Grand Forks Central starts their season 1-0.

Minot North took an early lead with a goal by Moses Canteh in the 14th minute, assisted by Emerson Ries. Jayden Marshall extended the lead to 2-0 with an unassisted goal in the 35th minute.

Grand Forks Central responded in the second half. Brady Kirkeby scored an unassisted goal in the 45th minute. McCain Kendall equalized in the 76th minute, and Hamza Salad netted the game-winner in the 78th minute, assisted by Kirkeby.

Minot North will face Williston, who are 0-1, on August 19. Grand Forks Central's next game is not yet scheduled.
