MANDAN - Minot North secured a 3-1 victory over Mandan-St. Mary's, improving their record to 5-4-1 overall and 5-2-1 in the WDA. Mandan-St. Mary's now stands at 2-3-3.

Caleb Meidinger opened the scoring for Mandan-St. Mary's in the 53rd minute with an unassisted goal, giving the home team an early lead. However, Minot North responded with a strong second half.

Jayden Marshall was the star for Minot North, netting a hat trick with goals in the 64th, 74th, and 80th minutes. His first goal was assisted by Emerson Ries, the second by Gavin Wald, and the third by Moses Conteh.

Minot North will face Bismarck (4-3) on September 11, while Mandan-St. Mary's will play against Dickinson (0-8) on the same day.
